Most bachelorette party ideas are quite simple: beer, tequila, more beer, more tequila, passing out, day over. There are still cases when guests do not drink: either because they’re not too fond of alcohol, or maybe they have an ugly history of addiction, or simply because they’re not 21 yet.
Possibly the most embarrassing situation I’ve seen was when a planner (a professional planner for all that matters) rented a room in a fashionable club for the bachelorette party, only to find out that the bouncer wouldn’t let the future bride in, since she was underage. So make sure you understand what your gang can do before buying a couple of wine crates.
If you decide to go for an alcohol-free party, announce everybody in advance. It could be awkward if somebody decides to ask for a vodka after all and you don’t have any, or worse, you have, but there are recovering alcoholics at the table.
Compensate the lack of alcohol with party games and have various topics prepared in advance – conversation doesn’t spark easily without any fuel.
